Why international orders cost more

Thank you for your order! We're a small UK manufacturer, not a shipping company, so we wanted to explain where the money goes on a typical £60 international order:

• Shipping: £15-£25. Set by the courier.
• VAT: 20%. Charged by your country.
• Duties and tariffs: 10-15%+. Set by your government.
• Etsy fees: ~15%.
• Materials, packaging and running costs.

We keep less than 15% of the total, before income tax.

Tariffs can change overnight, and we've often covered the difference ourselves. We do our best to keep prices fair.
